Golden Spring & Engineering Services and Van Zyl’s Springs merged in 2008 (incorporated in 1937 and Golden Springs in 1995). We are manufacturers & distributors of automative multi leaf springs, coil springs, parabolic springs (also known as mono leaf springs) as well as manufacturers of spring components. Golden Spring is the second largest spring manufacturer in South Africa. We supply a wide range of products to bus companies, trailer manufacturers, government institutions and African markets such as Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Angola, DRC, iSwatini, Lesotho & Mauritius.

The company is continuously improving our products to supply better quality. At Golden Spring, we believe that there is no job too big or too small. Customer satisfaction is our ultimate goal. Specially designed springs are made in-house, in this way, we can provide the correct spring for its correct application. Our engineering workshop manufactures brass bushes, U-bolts and center bolts, all manufactured to the required sizing. Golden Spring head office is located in Village
Main, Johannesburg and has a professional fitment center where customers can bring their vehicles and have their suspension examined, repaired or replaced if needed.

We also provide a repair service for Leaf Springs, Parabolic Spring. Each individual blade is reset back to its original state. We also provide reinforcement to the leaf and parabolic spring by adding an extra blade which will be enough to increase the load to an additional 25% in multi-leaf springs.
